Question: Is waterproof mascara that bad for your eyelashes?

Today it bucketed down rain at school and i was like paranoid that my mascara was gunna run , so now im thinkin i should use a waterproof one for days like that. what about waterproof mascara is bad for lashes? thankyou :)

Waterproof mascara is not bad for your lashes, it lasts all day and doesn't smudge, but it may take slightly longer to wash it off

No, it`s not bad for your lashes if you remove it with a makeup remover. You can actually wear it everyday without problems as long as you use a good makeup remover. Don`t try to remove it with baby wipes or water because your lashes will tend to get brittle. FYI though: Waterproof can sometimes make your eyes itch if you have allergies. Another option for you would be a clear mascara. That way you`ll have naturally defined lashes, but you won`t have to worry about black mascara running down your face. Funny Story: This goth girl who wore tons of eyeliner in my school had mascara and eyeliner literally completely streaked and running down her face when she came in from outside when it was raining. LOL. Hope I helped.

I wear waterproof mascara once in awhile, never any problems. However, hard to take off, i use baby oil on a cotton ball and wipe gently, as i said may have to do this several times. Finish off with whatever you use to wash your face with. Make sure oil is completely off or when applying eye make up again eye area will be greasy.
