Question: Why does my waterproof mascara smudge?

I have been using Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express mascara, but it smudges, so i bought the waterproof one and start using it, but it still smudges. Can someone tell me why? Can someone recommend me good mascara that does not smudge?

I use the same one and its fine, i like it a lot. i think that maybe the one you bought was a little old?? cuz when mascara gets old, it'll smudge. what i would do is either buy a new tube or try another brand of waterproof. if you use your old one, i would put a clear mascara over it and put some concealer under your lid, because it may be too oily(mines like that and my liner always slides off :/ )

I don`t think it`s anything that you are doing wrong. I think you just don`t have a good mascara, LOL! Rimmel Glam Eyes is an amazing mascara that doesn`t flake and gives you awesome volume, length, and seperation. Cheapest mascara out of the millions that I have tried. The best too! The price is only $5.50 at Wal-Mart and $7 at Ulta and drugstores. Hope I helped!!

Cover Girl Lash Blast is a great mascara.Try that.
