Question: Does an oil-based makeup remover have the same effect on non-waterproof makeup as a normal makeup remover?

Same effect? as in does in remove your non- waterproof makeup? Yes, it definitely does... However,some oil-based make up remover tends to block pores, gives u blackheads & acne... so choose carefully.

Yes it will have a different effect than a non oil based make up remover. Oil, will take off some of the eye make up. (also some of the non oil based ones do too) but oil moisturizes also. BUT beware of the kind of oil in the cleanser. Look for one that's glycerin or some other ingredients other than mineral oil . what c/ t said is true.
