Question: Make normal mascara waterproof?

I have a pool party tomorrow with a bonfire afterwards and have no waterproof mascara. Can I add oil or fat to old dryed out ones? Would that make them more waterproof? p.s. i will hurt anybody that says 'just don't wear any' or 'go out and buy some' or 'haha how will you hurt me?'

I know that when my stylist put my normal mascara on me for my wedding and knew i was going to cry that day...She gave me a tip, and told me to close my eyes, and spray a light coat of hairspray on my lashes!!! Worked like a charm! Good luck and have a blast

I'm not really sure how to make something waterproof but I've worn normal mascara in a pool and been just fine. just apply a thin layer :)
